The New Moon is the perfect time to think about anything that you may want to draw into your life.

You may have found over the last couple of weeks that you’ve been re-evaluating areas in your life or things have been coming to the surface that you are ready to let go of and shed, this is because the period between a Full Moon and a New Moon (the Waning phase) is all about release. A time to part ways with what no longer serves us in order to make space for all of the new things we are calling in.

Below is a simple New Moon ritual for you to follow that can be done over the next couple of days to assist you with drawing in all of your hearts desires!

Cleanse Yourself and Your Space

Begin by cleansing yourself and your space of any unwanted energy you may have picked up during your day. Below are some cleansing techniques to try.

 Salt Bath

A great way to do this is to take a bath in salt water. I prefer to use Epsom salts but you can use Himalayan Rock Salt or Sea Salt. Simply run yourself a nice warm bath and add a handful or two of your salt.

Meditation and Visualisation

Close your eyes and make yourself comfortable. Allow yourself to be completely supported by the surface you are sitting on. Take a long deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth. Repeat this a few more times until you start to feel nice and relaxed. Visualise a beautiful golden ball of cleansing light above your head. As you breathe in, this golden ball of light appears brighter and more vivid. Feel the golden light slowly shining down onto the top of your head, moving down your face and onto your shoulders and arms. Feel the warmth of the light moving down slowly onto the rest of your body all the way down to the tips of your toes. Let any distracting thoughts completely fall away from you. When you feel ready open your eyes.

Space Clearing

Burning some White Sage, Palo Santo or Frankincense (resin or essential oil) in the space you are performing your New Moon ritual in will purify the space. All of these are great at clearing away negativity, but you don’t need to wait for a ritual to use these herbs and essences, I often come home after a hectic or stressful day and cleanse my aura space with White Sage, as I’m a real believer in leaving outside energy outside of my space and home.

The Ritual

You will need:

A Pen

Paper

Find somewhere comfortable to sit where you won’t be disturbed. I like to burn my favourite incense and light some candles but the ritual is just as effective if you choose not to do this.

It’s really important to be in the right frame of mind when you carry out this ritual so spend a few minutes thinking about all of the brilliant things you already have in your life that you are grateful for. When you have filled yourself up with thoughts and vibrations of gratitude and positive energy it’s time to begin.

Start by writing at the top of your piece of paper ‘I accept these things into my life now or something better for the highest good and the highest good of all concerned.’ Then take a moment to ask yourself what it is that you really want to draw into your life. What dreams do you want to fulfil right now?  You may be ready for a new job or a new relationship. You might want to travel more or be more courageous.

Begin to write your list of what you would like to draw in but write each thing as if it is part of your life already, for example:

I have a job that I love and look forward to going to everyday. I am paid well and I work with interesting and inspirational people.

I am in a happy and loving relationship

I have amazing and fun friends

I am courageous

I am happy and healthy

You can manifest and call in as many things as you wish. This list is for you and you only. Dig deep, be bold and think big, this is your time! The possibilities are endless.

Once you have finished writing your list read it out loud releasing it into the universe. As you read your list try to really connect with the emotions and positive feelings each things brings to you.Feel and visualise yourself achieving every single one.

When you have finished fold up and put it somewhere safe. I like to put mine under my favourite piece of Clear Quartz Crystal by my window, you may choose to carry it around with you or sleep with it under your pillow.

You can go back and read through your list whenever you like, you may even wish to add things to it.

By the time of the next Full Moon you will see some of these things starting to take shape, if not immediately after you carry out this ritual. The more you believe and stronger you connect to each of your desires from a place of gratitude, the faster you will see results.

It’s up to you to create the life that you love and to allow everything that you desire to happen, so keep an eye open for any opportunities that may come your way, no matter how big or small. Be open to the journey and trying new things, everything is connected and you never know where these things will take you. And remember, you are worthy of it all!

Love and New Moon Blessings,

Charlotte xxx
